i was on ebay once and i been rip off too
why because i paid to a guy in usa
and they dodn,t do noithing over 3 month
and guess what..i got money back by canada post office after 3 MONTH and then just 2 days ago after i got my money back after 5 month
i recieved a e-mail from ebay that they is going to call F.B.I and CIA about it
me i got proof that i was on only once
but me i never go on ebay more then 8 month now
and guess what
just like a man says on here
ebay sucks? yes it is true ...it is very sucks
that i never never go back there again
that is a damn promise
so buyer ...don,t go on ebay
don,t even go there

Add me to the list of people victimized on eBay. A foreigner who “dispises stupid Americans” (I know this b/c he sent me a email after the fact) took me for $5800. I was new to eBay, & I admit to being gullible, niave, & trusting. I hate to admit stupid. I notified eBay, all I got was a “sorry for the inconvenience”. Are they kidding? I reported in to Internet Crime. Doesn't seem to do much good though. I honestly think all they do w/ the paperwork is file it away. So, I am out all this money. I am 66 yrs old, retired and working p/t, so this is devasting. To all you out there, please realize that its bad enough to be taken by an American, but to know it was a foreigner is sickening. I think this classifies as a “hate crime” originating on eBay's site. So, beware.

EBAY SUCKS... I have used it a few times and each time I got ripped off. The last one is a kirkseyblues who received receiving payment, and refused to send item and.or refund...if that isn't bad enough report me as an unpaid buyer. Creating dispute problems... ebay admitted to the item as being paid as the bank furnished them proff and I sent her email on top of all that.

but what is being done to recover my loss NOT A DAM THING.

I want the account closed and ebay won't even do that.

AND THEY WONDER WHY THEY HAVE FRAUD AND PROBLEMS....EBAY DON"T DO CRAP TO PREVENT IT.

BUYERS BEWARE!!!! THERE ARE MANY OUT THERE READY TO TAKE YOUR MONEY WITHOUT GIVING IT A SECOND CHANGE AND ONCE THEY GET IT THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT.....

could try Spoof@ebay.com...

I could suggest 1 thing to solve abit of there problem..
Password that ISNT SAVED on system, or cookies.
Most of the stolen ones, are from Phishing/bots and the sort.
There is nothing secure about storing passwrds on a computer.

another trick would be to have those that have joined, to ONLY be able to run a special browser. It could log you, and SHOW everything a seller installs on the site. And send tracks to there location. MUCH less fraud. Cant put up a sale without the software, and its tracker.

Anyone ever try to contact eBay on a complaint? Talk about a pain in the butt. We had someone trying to rip off our reviews and pictures to use them for their auction. In order to complain we had to register as an eBay user, them follow an online wizard in order to file the complaint. It would be nice to be able to just call or e-mail them. I wish their customer service was better.
