Edge Tech Corporation has introduced a new 12-inch digital picture frame...with an integrated MP3 player so users can have both pictures and music.

Edge Technology Corp. has introduced a new 12-inch Digital Photo Frame with a twist: this one packs an MP3 music player so users can have their favorite music accompany their digital photos.

The 12-inch Digital Picture Frame with MP3 Player offers an 800 by 600 pixel resolution, and supports media cards and USB flash drives: user just plug in their digital media and pictures begin to appear on the screen. The frame enables users to choose between transitions effects and music selections; the picture frame can also be connected to a TV or monitor to display image content on a larger screen without using a computer.

The unit can handle BMP and JPEG images, along with MP3, WAV, and WMA audio. The system also supports AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, and MPEG-4 video, and users can pop in SD, MMC, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, Compact Flash, and Microdrive storage.
