In addition of this article ,
I suggest search in Google or Yahoo- : "the long tail" - it's a, creative concept about the obscure and rare products in web market .(www.wired.com/wired/archive/12.10/tail.html )
There are a lot of articles about this new concept of the Paretto theory (20/80) in the blog ( http://longtail.typepad.com/the_long_tail/) . In my option it;s true when you work with the right selection of keywords that you wish to be ranked in serach engine mechanism and digital market.

Thanks and Happy New Year .

Geoff,

I wouldn't worry much about the first poster, he has been posting the same comment on a lot of the stories. I think he is just a troll.
It like an un-proofed version of this piece was posted; I've posted what I believe to have been the intended proofed version.

That said, I saw two typos (neither of which would have been caught in a spellcheck), one omitted letter, and one inconsistent use of terminology - not bad for no proofing at all. (One of the most awkward phrases is a verbatim quote.) However, I'd also broken up a few of the longer sentences during proofing.

Apologies...

This is an interesting article, but you should hire a better editor. The number of typos and misspelled words was distracting.
