Internet Users Like Search Over Address Bar

A new survey from Nielsen/NetRatings reveals that a significant number of Internet searchers prefer to type a search term versus entering a URL into a browser's address bar.

Interesting findings from a study out today from Nielsen/NetRatings reveal that Web surfers often use search engines to visit commonly accessed sites such as eBay and Google over typing the URL directly into the address bar. 43 percent of online searches are reportedly conducted like this.
