Porn Site Shut Down By Hackers

Self-styled Turkish cyber-terrorists take down a popular porn site for a few hours.

Vnunet has reported that porn video-sharing site RedTube was taken down yesterday by a group of self-styled Turkishcyber-terrorists calling themselves Hacked NetDevilz.   The porn site, which had four million visitors last month, is among the 100 most-visited websites.    RedTube operates in muchthe same way as its tamer counterpart, YouTube, with users uploading videos for others to watch. At present it’s not known how the site’s securityfeatures were bypassed, but once the method has been found, it could cause worries if it could be applied to similar Web 2.0 sites.   RedTube itself was back on another server in just a fewhours and entertaining the masses.
