Two companies announce plans to launch a multi-platform horror and thriller network which will distribute content via the Internet and wireless, among other locations.
Comcast and Sony Pictures today unveiled plans to launch a new advertising supported, multi-platform horror and thriller network on Halloween this year. This new network will debut on video on demand and the Internet at the onset, with a wireless component added in the future.
The as yet unnamed network, said the two companies, will leverage the combined assets of the Sony and MGM libraries to bring to viewers film and TV contemporary thrillers, suspense dramas, horror titles and more.
