The Washington Post launches an online tool which allows users to research the entire voting records of each Congress from 1991 on.

Washingtonpost Newsweek Interactive, the online arm of The Washington Post Company, yesterday announced the launch of a new online database which allows users to keep track of the voting records of their congressional representative.

The Congressional Votes Database Tool tracks the full voting records of Congress from 1991 through the current day. The database can be searched by several categories, including by senator or representative, bill, party, state, region, baby boomer status and votes missed.

The daily updated tool allows users to track a specific member of Congress through RSS feeds as their individual votes are recorded.
