New Nixon Watches: The Platform and the Decision

nixon-platformThe folks over at Nixon have a couple of new designs to squeeze out before year’s end. The Platform ($160-$180) takes on a more assertive look with its chunky, oversized face and the Decision ($200-$240) is a retro/modern design with a dedicated tide hand.

Breitling is releasing two limited edition Chrono-Matic pieces to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the launch of the selfwinding chronograph movement, The Chrono-Matic QP & 1461. Limited to 125 models, The QP is a beautifully engineered feat of 500 parts which come together to display the date, day, week, month, season, and moon phase. Limited to 2,000 models, the 1461 features a chronograph and a calendar complication that needs only one adjustment per leap year resulting in a memory of 1,461 days. breitling-chronomatic2

Bell & Ross BR01-92 Carbon Fiber Watch

Limited to 500 models, Bell & Ross is crafting their BR01 completely in high performance carbon fiber. Both the face and the strap will be getting the carbon fiber treatment and it will also be complemented by their BR01-94 chronograph model. Details about this watch have yet to appear on the company’s website. Here are some insights into their BR-01 Carbon Fiber collection.

Tsovet is following up their successful launch with a three new styles which include a diver inspired by Imperial Baltic Divers, a classic infantryman field watch style, and the SVT-AR77 which was designed after avionic gauges.

New Oakley Watches: Oakley 12 Gauge

The watch features a chronograph with accumulated and interval timing, integrated alarm with subdial, internal bezel that works both as a secondary time zone or countdown timer, and a tachymeter scale for measuring speed. This timepiece is priced at $1395.

Zenith Class EP Open MultiCity Alarm

This is one example of organized chaos at its most beautiful. Zenith’s latest masterpiece is backed by their 41 jewel, El Primero automatic movement and boasts an array of functions including a alarm complication, chronograph, big date, power reserve indicator, world timer and 12 hour alarm. The El Primero movement has a frequency of 36,000 alternations per hour. The company has not yet announced a price for this watch.

Bozeman’s New Watch: The SnowMaster Telemetric

Absolutely stunning watch from American watchmaker, Bozeman of Montana. The SnowMaster Telemetric was designed for the U.S. Ski Team with portions of the sales of the watch going to the support the Olympic effors of the US Ski & Snowboard team. The watch features speed and distance timing functions, chronograph, GMT function, and a telemetric scale. The SnowMaster can be pre-ordered from Bozeman’s website and is priced at $5,900.
