Research and Markets reports that wind power is the fastest growing energy source in the US.
The report’s conclusion is that power derived from wind power is expected to serve 6% of the nations electrical needs by 2020. Most states have put initiatives in place to grow this area of power production after discovering how effective an alternate energy sourceit can be.
More than 2000 MW of wind generators are currently installed in the US. Also attractive is the lack of pollutants produced by harvesting the wind.
Research and Markets have put together a Wind prospects wall map that identifies the wind energy potential across the US.

RSSEfficentcy sucks.. The more efficent you are the more they will charge you, because they cant make the same amount of money.
In this area, they recently put up a wind field.. the power company is *****ing as ALOT of other people want to place MORE up, and they have to pay a premium price for it.
The electric company tells us that we have to BUY 40% of the power from other states, as they dont have enugh, and they need to rasie prices.
Bush wants Nuck power..
1 wind mill generates enough power for 300-400 homes.

Imagine this values if we can reduce powerconsumption of our electrical devices by 50% till 2020. We could serve almost half of our needs by wind energy alone. True, a very optimistic view, but not entirely impossible.
