It’s already done. My Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is the reason that I will not need a tablet. The next big thing has already arrived, as they say. LOL – I *love* my Phablet!!!

I had the GS3. The size was good. Just didn’t like android. Going back to the iPhone 5, I like having the smaller screen.

Where is the trend going? 4.5-4.8 was already the sweet spot. I think the trend that needs to happen is improve battery life for phones. Follow Motorollas example of the razr max.

Yea, was thinking the same thing, but still 1080p on a 5-invh screen was to much overkill you’re not going to see much difference from the 720p screens that they have right now, unless you have a magnifying glass. If we have to use a damn magnifier to see these pixels, then we have gone too far in this department. I say refine the screen to make them look better with better specs but don’t necessarily lose the 720p screen, as most things on this screen will look decent anyways. More RAM, more storage and longer battery life is what we really need. As for that 6+ inch screen with 1080p, I say really? I mean really??

I can imagine pant producers to add “2013 model, extra wide pockets for your 5″ phone!”

Certainly bigger pockets will be an advantage with these larger phones.
