Only a select few places here in East Central Indiana even had the iPad mini in stock. To me you can’t evaluate the opening weekend of a product like you can a movie, because it’s not accessible everywhere. The stores that did have them in stock only had a limited few mini’s. I want a 64 GB mini, probably will wait for 4G one…but no one had any 64 GB ones in stock. Best Buy wouldn’t tell me what they had, just that they did have them in stock, but not many (I hate them.). So many will wait for the 4G, many will want a specific color or a specific size, so you can’t effectively judge the success of a product’s opening weekend when it’s not readily available and half their product line is not even out yet.
