Yeah, I don’t get why anyone would hand their kid a $200+ gadget that wasn’t designed with kids in mind…it’s like you WANT your phone broken. That, and does nobody remember that it has quite a bit of GLASS??? Anyone else remember the last kid’s toy containing glass?
Ok, I’m stopping now…
Depends on the childs age. I wouldn’t let a 2 or 3 year old play with it and not all kids are careless. I would only let my son play with it if he was sitting right beside me. What grosses me out is when parents let their babies play with their phone, only to have it sucked and drooled on.

Am I the only one who won’t let my child near my stupidly expensive phone? I do have insurance on it but I’m still not going to let a child play with it!

I also have a suggestion for parents, who have kids of 5-10 years old. It is an educational iPhone app Kinder Hangman – http://sharkfuel.com/kinderhangman.html that is an interesting iPhone game and very useful for development of kids. It allows children to learn new words easily, effectively and quickly. Learning process is organized as an interesting game with graphical themes and animations. It is a good game that kids usually like very much. So, parents can use it to keep kids busy.
Technolio Inc have several educational apps for our little kids, check it out at the App Store: http://ax.search.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSe…
