Core i3 and i7 versions of Surface Pro 3 are on sale now

Microsoft announced today that Core i3 and i7 models of the Surface Pro 3 are available for consumers in the U.S. and Canada to purchase. Initially, Microsoft only made the Core i5 flavor available back on June 20.

As you might have guessed, the Core i3 version is the cheapest, while the Core i7 models are the most expensive. You can get a 1.5GHz Core i3 Surface Pro 3, which comes with 64GB of storage, 4GB of RAM, and Intel HD Graphics 4200 GPU. This model costs $799.\

The Core i7 models are quite a step up in both specs and price. For $1,549, your Surface Pro 3 will be equipped with an Intel Core i7 CPU running at 3.3GHz, a 256GB SSD, 8GB of RAM, and an Intel HD Graphics 5000 GPU. The other Core i7 Surface Pro 3, which costs $1,949, includes the same CPU and memory count (8GB), but doubles the SSD’s size to 512GB.

Weighing 1.76 pounds and measuring 11.5 x 7.93 x 0.36 inches, the Surface Pro 3 wears a 12-inch 2160×1440 display is encased in a shell that consists of Magnesium, and runs Windows 8.1 Pro.

The Surface Pro 3 has already ran into trouble, despite the fact that it hasn’t been on the market for that long. Some iffy firmwarm and drivers from Microsoft caused issues with Wi-Fi connectivity, which you can read about here.
