This might keep your device secure if you loose it or someone steals it. But if the police want to wrongly invade your privacy and look through your phone all they have to do is force your finger on the phone. How bloody easy would it be for your privacy to be violated in that case?

Still looks like it has a ways to go. A lot of the demonstrations I am seeing involve the person trying 3-4 times before the scanner recognizes their finger. And they have to do it super slow for it to work.

Personally I would want it to work a lot faster.

This is actually pretty awesome. I hate having a passcode for my phone, but I would use this in a heartbeat to lock my phone.

I really have no need to hide photos, etc behind security. If my phone is locked whats the purpose? Is that in case I have something shady I don't want to show to my friends if I happen to give them my phone to look through photos?

Not like I go do sxting or something, but I can see how others might find that useful.
