Think about it, the bundled offer ($599) only comes with one color for the keyboard - BLACK.

I'm relatively certain that those $499 sales (and the reason that SKU sold out so quickly) were primarily people buying Touch Covers in other colors (cyan, magenta, white, etc.) The cover is a signature feature of the product :)

i’ve always been pro MS and looking forward to the Surface. it’s too expensive for the RT version and why be just like apple selling accessories at top dollar? i’m with the other poster…..the keyboard should have been included for that price. coconutz247

Exactly. The problem is not the keyboard itself, its the premium price of it. In this economy, people are thinking 3-4 times before spending any extra money on gimmicks. Microsoft should have known that!
