Dell Developing Android Handset?

Speculation is rife that computer maker Dell is working on a handset that will use Google's Android OS.
Dell makes computers, right? Well, maybe not just that, if a rumor from the Wall Street Journal is correct. The newspaper has reported that the maker of PCs and servers is set to branch out into the mobile handset market.
According to the article, it won’t be a mobile phone, but a handheld Internet device that will be about the size of an Apple iPod Touch and be powered by Google’s Android operating system.
However, this follows earlier rumors of Dell developing first a portable media player and then a smartphone, neither of which has happened.
