Get a BlackBerry with Your Pizza

Papa John's does a promotion where you can get a free (after rebate and two year agreement) BlackBerry 7100g thrown in with your online food order.

I’ll admit – this seems like a weird promotion but hey, what do I know? Anyhow, Papa John’s, a nationwide pizza chain, is doing a limited time promotion where you buy a pizza and get a BlackBerry thrown in for free.

Specifically, according to a company press release, consumers must visit Papa John’s Website and order a pizza, two 20-oz. beverages and their choice of a side item. Customers who then commit to a two-year service agreement will receive a free, after rebate of course, BlackBerry 7100g wireless handheld.

“A superior-quality pizza in every mouth and a versatile communications tool in every hand,” stated Papa John’s President and CEO, Nigel Travis. “As the only national pizza company providing customers the convenience of nationwide online ordering, we are pleased to now also offer our customers the convenience of a cell phone, email, text messaging, web browsing and personal organizer – all in one handy, portable device.”
