How to make a ringtone using Fried Cookies’ Ringtone Maker (Windows)
Step 1: Open Fried Cookies’ Ringtone Maker
Open the program. Make sure you grab the latest version of the software before you continue.
Step 2: Import an audio file
Simply drag and drop your desired ringtone song into the application window.
Step 3: Select your favorite part of the song
Adjust the slider to select the part of the song you wish to capture for your custom ringtone. The length and placement of the song clip can be tweaked, but keep in mind that Android ringtones continually run in 30-second (or less) loops, so don’t pick something that you are going to regret later. Click Next.
Step 4: Select your phone type
Select the Android icon from the list of device types and click Next.
Step 5: Choose the save location
Choose the file’s save destination from the given locations or specify your own. Afterward, click Create your ringtone.
Step 6: Mount your Android phone
Connect and mount your Android phone to your computer.
Step 7: Drag & drop MP3
Drag and drop your new ringtone into your ringtones folder on your Android drive. If you don’t have a designated ringtones folder, go ahead and create one to stash all your future tones.
Step 8: Eject & set
Now just eject your Android phone, go to your phone’s settings, and set the ringtone under the Sounds options.
