But the space used by the OS and office seems fairly comparable. I haven’t seen these things in person so I don’t know what it comes out of the box with to compare to the iPad but iOS is growing with every release so it would seem to be inline.

Does the iPad even offer full on device recovery? I thought you had to connect it to a PC and iTunes to do a full recovery? Maybe I’m wrong there.
