LG, Cingular Promote New CE500 MP3 Phone

New clamshell designed phone can play MP3s loaded on a TransFlash memory card and has a built-in VGA camera/camcorder with flash, among other features.

LG Electronics and mobile provider Cingular Wireless today introduced the CE500 cellular phone. This MP3 playing phone is set to be exclusively available at Best Buy for a limited time at a price of $99.99 with a two year contract.

The CE500 comes in a clamshell design and features a built in MP3 player as well as a TransFlash memory card. With this combination, users can store up to 64MB of their music and listen to it through the phone’s dual stereo speakers.

Other features of the CE500 include a built-in VGA camera/camcorder with flash, tri-band capabilities, an external color LCD, talk time of up to seven hours, standby time of up to nine days and four hours, customizable MP3 player software skins, a POP3 email client and personal organizer functions.

Matthew at 12:07pm 2nd May 2006 this was helpful i have a Motorola v551 its a good phone but i want something with more features like camera with flash mp3 player and so on Radio Shack wants 219 dollars US for it i wish i could find another place to buy it because radio shack is always higher so i guess i have to go with radio shack if anyone knows a site where i can buy one new e-mail me at ma_french@bellsouth.net or Im me maf45700230@hotmail.com not good for e-mail
