If the idea of yet another social network is too much to bear, we understand. With Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Linkedin it can be a bit overwhelming, but you just might do well to give Stamped a try.

Part app, equal parts social network, Stamped allows you to — you guessed it, put your stamp of approval on pretty much anything, movies, books, bars, clubs, restaurants, the list goes on. You can share your stamps with friends, who in turn can share what they have stamped with you, creating a list of reliable recommendations for you and your friends to take advantage of. You don’t need to write a long explanation, no stars, or 3 spoons. The idea here is that you’re sharing with your friends what you thought was awesome. Simply stamp something you love and you’re done. Love the nachos at your local bar, or think you have found a gem of a pizza place, why not stamp it and let all your friends know? Plus you know you can trust your friends’ opinions right? Well most of them…

Stamped is available as a free download in the App Store.
