Motorola e680 Review

Howard Chui reviews the new Motorola e680 cell phone which features a Linux powered operating system and a ton of multimedia capabilities.

Quote from the review:

“Where the e680 really shines is when it’s used as a portable video player. With the e680, you can actually listen to music or share a movie with a bunch of friends.

The e680 is pretty different from anything else on the market so it takes some getting used to. Most people consider the e680 to be more of a PDA/Smartphone type device but I find it’s really more of a regular phone with a touch screen. The main reason I say that is because the e680 doesn’t have a built-in html web browser and it only allows you to install Java programs (unless you know how to use Linux).”
