Motorola Milestone Sells Out in Less Than 3 Hours in UK

The Motorola Droid, or the Motorola Milestone as it’s called in Europe, has been making waves in the UK. Online retailer eXpansys, an exclusive vendor of the Motorola Milestone, revealed today that the new Motorola handset completely sold out in about 2.5 hours. eXpansys had received over 1000 pre-orders for the Milestone and the retailer says it had to increase its Milestone shipment from Motorola twice.

“On Thusday December 10th, the first shipment of the Motorola Milestone was delivered into the UK, to be sold exclusively by eXpansys.com. Within 3 hours of the product being listed as ‘in stock’ on the eXpansys site it sold out. This makes the Motorola Milestone the fastest selling gadget in the website’s 11 year history, even more successful than the iPhone“, says eXpansys in a statement to Pocket-lint.
