New Phones To Respond To Shakes, Tilts
The Associated Press is reporting that some new cell phones slated to arrive in Japan shortly, will respond to shaking or tilting the unit rather than pressing buttons.
“The new phones come equipped with a tiny motion-control sensor. Just jerk your cell phone in the air in a variety of two-step patterns — such as left followed by down — to program your phone to scroll or jump to e-mail or other features.”
Vodafone K.K plans on introducing the new phones and by the way it sounds, video games loaded on the phones will be using the new technology. So if you are worried about having to dial someones phone number by shaking the phones, don’t worry, that goofy idea isn’t being used – yet!
