Nokia, Alltel Deliver Nokia 6235i

The bar style designed 6235i comes with a variety of features, including a VGA camera and built-in FM radio.

Nokia and cellular provider Alltel today announced that the Nokia 6235i phone was now available to Alltel subscribers. The phone is priced at $69.99 with a two year agreement.

The Nokia 6235i is a bar style design highlighted with chrome accents and a navigation joystick. It gets up to 180 minutes of talk time or 192 hours of standby. Features of this CDMA, Tri-mode phone include a VGA camera and camcorder, FM radio, voice dialing, infrared wireless connectivity and a built-in FM radio.

“The Nokia 6235i bar phone features a refined, slim design with chrome accents and a color display that customers will love,” said Wade McGill, vice president of wireless product management at Alltel. “In addition, the Nokia 6235i phone is Alltel’s first handset that lets customers purchase ringtones and phone wallpapers without leaving the Mobile Web portal.”
