Nokia is facing a $25,000 dollar lawsuit in Thailand after a persons Nokia phone exploded while they were using it.
“The accident took place in March last year when Prasit’s Nokia mobile phone exploded. Prasit suffered severe burns and his right leg and all five toes on his left foot had to be amputated while hisright hand was crippled.
Prasit was working near a high-voltage power line when the accident occurred. His mobile was in his shirt pocket and it rang before exploding, a newspaper quoted a spokesman from the attorney general’s office as saying.”
