Eagerly awaiting the arrival of Oppo’s luxury level Find 7 smartphone? Thanks to global design directory Red Dot, we have a sneak preview of what the mobile will look like, and it’s sporting a refined and minimal style. According to the listing that has appeared online, the mobile will, as rumored, feature a 5.5-inch screen with a whopping 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution.

The camera is listed as a 13-megapixel model though, some way short of the 50-megapixel snapper that we had been hearing about from the rumor mill. Either the rumors were wrong or there are multiple models in the works. The front and back of the Find 7 follow a discreet, understated style, and there’s a crescent-shaped “breath light” down at the bottom of the display for alerting you to notifications from the phone and its apps.

If you’re just getting up to speed with the Oppo Find 7 story, the device has been officially confirmed as on the way by its manufacturer, and a launch event is already scheduled to take place on March 19. 4G LTE is expected to be on board, while the Red Dot listing points to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor.

While it’s not a big player in the mobile market, Oppo has raised one or two eyebrows with its quirky and innovative handsets. You may recall the Oppo N1, which includes a rotating camera, rear-mounted touch panel and a modded version of Android. The Find 7’s immediate predecessor the Find 5, meanwhile, appeared in December 2012.

The Pixel 8 may fix two of my biggest complaints about the Pixel 7
The back of the Pixel 7 Pro held in a person's hand.

The Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are expected to arrive later this fall, and despite being months away from their release date, we're already learning a lot about them. Most recently, a new report has shed some light on various specs for the two phones — and it looks promising.

Over the weekend, Android Authority shared a few exclusive details about the Pixel 8 family, citing a "source inside Google" from which they came from. There's plenty to dig through here, but the most interesting has to do with the reported battery life and charging upgrades.

This phone may have already beat the Galaxy Z Flip 5 in a big way
A leaked render of the Oppo Find N3 Flip that shows the phone unfolded with three cameras on its front cover.

Foldable phones are getting exponentially better with each new iteration, and a new smartphone might already be outdoing the Galaxy Z Flip 5 before it even hits store shelves. According to a new leaked render, the Oppo Find N3 Flip will be outfitted with a triple-camera setup — a major step up from the dual-camera arrays that flip smartphones have been rocking for the past several years.

As shared by 91Mobiles, the Oppo Find N3 Flip will feature three cameras on its cover: a 50MP main lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 32MP telephoto lens. If the information is true, which it seems like it might be, then the Find N3 Flip will be breaking new ground for photographers who are looking to enjoy the benefits of foldable devices.

I did a Pixel 7a camera test — and it’s bad news for Samsung
Google Pixel 7a and Samsung Galaxy A54 cameras

Every smartphone manufacturer updates its flagship lineup annually, packing in all of the best components that are available. For Google, this is the Pixel 7 lineup, and Samsung has the Galaxy S23 series.

However, not everyone wants to — or can afford — to pay flagship prices all the time. Thankfully, both Google and Samsung have more budget-friendly options with the Pixel A-series and Galaxy A-series devices. If you want a good smartphone without paying too much, then these are both pretty good phones to check out.
