Samsung’s revamped smaller tablet, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is bound for T-Mobile. The carrier announced that it will carry the 7-inch tablet beginning Nov. 16. The Tab 7.0 Plus is a revamp of the original Galaxy Tab 7-inch tablet, but shares most of its design characteristics with the recently released Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9 tablets. That means it’s quite thin at 9.96mm (though not as thin as the larger tablets) and the lightest Galaxy Tab yet at just .77 pounds (345g).

The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a fully-featured tablet, running on Google’s Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) operating system with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 16GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM, a 3MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera, and a microSD card slot for expanded memory storage. It also has a 1024×600 pixel screen. Full specs can be found at Samsung’s official site

Unfortunately, a nice tablet doesn’t come cheap. The Tab 7.0 Plus will be available on Nov. 16 for a $250 “down payment.” After you purchase the device, which requires a 2-year data contract, you’ll have to send in a $50 mail-in rebate to get that price and also make “20 interest free monthly payments of $10.” This makes the total price of the tablet $450-$500 and you’ll be stuck paying for its data for two years. Good deal? We’ll let you decide. We are definitely fans of the larger Samsung tablets, but we haven’t yet had a chance to use Samsung’s new 7-inch device.

The Tab 7.0 Plus joins the Galaxy Tab 10.1, T-Mobile G-Slate, T-Mobile SpringBoard, original Samsung Galaxy Tab, and the Dell Streak 7 on T-Mobile here in the United States. You can view the tablets on T-Mobile’s site

The Samsung Galaxy S24 line of smartphones has been announced, and time is running out to get a pre-order. The phone is officially available January 30, so these phone deals are only available for another day. One of the more tantalizing and obvious offers is at Amazon, where you can get a $50, $150 or $200 Amazon gift card when you buy the S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra, respectively. Sounds like free money, right? Maybe, but there's a better deal on Samsung's site. Let's break it down.

Why you should pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S24 at Samsung
Buy something from the Samsung Galaxy S24 range and you’re scoring one of the best phones out there. That’s going to be good at any price but why not save even more by buying through Samsung?

Get this Samsung tablet for $120 in Best Buy’s latest sale
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 on

Some tablets are powerful enough to handle tough tasks such as multimedia editing and multitasking between several apps, but if you just need a basic device, then you should consider Best Buy's offer for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. From an already affordable original price of $160 for its 32GB model, it's down even further to just $120. The $40 discount is part of the retailer's three-day sale that runs through the weekend, but it's highly recommended that you make the purchase immediately as there's no assurance that stocks will still be available by tomorrow.

Why you should buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite
Let's get this out of the way -- the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite isn't going to match the performance of the best tablets, as it's only equipped with the MediaTek MT8768T processor and 3GB of RAM. However, for its price, you can get amazing value from the device if you manage your expectations. While it's not going to blow you away in terms of speed, it's perfectly capable for simple functions such as browsing the internet, checking social media, and watching streaming shows on its 8.7-inch touchscreen with 1340 x 800 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is also pretty durable with its metal frame, and it can run for up to 11 hours on a single charge.
