Available Monday, the t809 sports a variety of features including a MP3 and video player, sliding cover, 1.3 megapixel camera and Bluetooth.
Samsung and T-Mobile USA yesterday announced a highly anticipated slim slider phone which is loaded with a vibrant screen, music and multimedia functions. The new Samsung t809 will be available starting Monday.
The Samsung t809 is a slender, black shelled phone which features a MP3 and video player tied to external stereo speakers. The phone sports a 1.3 megapixel camera as well as video capture. The phone comes with an internal memory of 70 MB for storage of music, video, movies and images.
Other features of the Samsung t809 include quad band functionality, speakerphone functionality, Bluetooth wireless technology, instant messaging support and a weight of 3.3 ounces.
“The t809 sets the bar for superb design and technology integration, and we’re excited to provide such an appealing and exclusive device for T-Mobile this holiday season,” said Peter Skarzynski, senior vice president of Samsung’s wireless division. “This sharp-looking device is an indication of how Samsung will continue to develop the most sought after phones on the market.”

RSSI will agree that 50 years ago, the use of the term **** or ****TY would have been considered foul language. However, this word is now a part of common language usage. It has been used in TV commercials, by the President of the USA, and other respected members of society. To hang up on me because of my use of the word "****ty" to describe a tower signal shows me how far t-mobile/tmobile continues to lag behind the rest of the industry in treatment of customers.
Before t-mobile/tmobile attempts to expand its services and coverage, maybe it needs to go back and reexamine how it treats and deals with current customers.
