Continuing its habit of halting sales of models in its CLIE line six months after introduction, Sony has now ceased sales of its PEG-NX60 handheld.

One of the first two Palm OS handhelds to be introduced with an ARM processor, the NX60 has received far less attention than the PEG-NX70V which was introduced simultaneously, much due to the inclusion of a VGA digital camera in the latter.

Following an eerily familar pattern, Sony has also lowered the price of the PEG-NX70V model with $100 USD, indicating that the company will introduce new models in its CLIE line of handhelds before long.
