Sony is moving forward with its PlayStation Store. Owners of the Sony Tablet S can now download several classic PSX games.

The Xperia Play isn’t making waves, but Sony is not backing down. As of yesterday, the company officially opened its PlayStation Store on the Sony Tablet S, its 10.1-inch Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) tablet. The first games are all priced at $5.99 and appear to all be classic PSX games. The list is below, courtesy of CNET

  • Cool Boarders
  • Destruction Derby
  • Hot Shots Golf 2
  • Jet Moto
  • Jet Moto 2
  • Jumping Flash!
  • MediEvil
  • Motor Toon Grand Prix
  • Rally Cross
  • Wild Arms
Tablet S owners should see an update showing that the store is open. Sony is promising more updates soon.

  1. jesterking at 12:09pm 21st October 2011 I'd get one, but of course Sony needs to redesign the wheel when it comes to form factor... Make it a simple slate, without that silly plastic flap, and I would consider it.
