Sony Targets Apple in New PSP Ads

PSP Ad

A new ad form Sony admits that Apple might have more iPhone games, but counters that they aren’t nearly as good as the PSPs.

Apple has made no secret of its intention to enter into the gaming market for its mobile devices, and so far it has been relying on the quantity of games it has available to compete against the Sony PSP and the Nintendo DS. In a new ad, Sony has decided to fire back.

Continuing its series of “Marcus Rivers” videos, Sony has basically conceded the fact that Apple has more games, but claims that they aren’t as good as the PSP’s games.

Perhaps a new battle between tech giants is about to begin…

  3. blokoblob at 11:35pm 23rd August 2010 two mobile devices on the go? No way. iPhone is the winner because of internet access over 3G.
  4. RandomRay at 12:59pm 22nd August 2010 I don't like my hands getting i the way when I play on the iphone. So psp/ds wins for gaming.
  5. farhan at 5:30am 20th August 2010 u want any games in ur iphone?
  6. rerasmus at 1:40am 17th August 2010 Except for the quality of the games, another fact is that all the PSP games are available in countries like South Africa, but hardly any of the iPhone games are available in South Africa. I am an iPhone user, but for me it is most definitely not a gaming device as I have access to non of the good games. I read about it, but cannot get it.
