I recently came upon my Pandora renewal and opened up my research to alternatives (obviously Spotify was at the forefront), but from all that I gathered, the Android app was seriously lacking. I have since renewed Pandora, please don't tell me they've recently updated to correct the issues!

smh.... while the radio thing is cool, and i have 18 pandora stations but they simply play the same pool of less than 1 million songs Over & over in my specific genre radio. now spotify....the radio thing didnt even work the first 9 months i paid (gladly paid) for the service. After all, its the only music app that plays all my itunes, all my ripped or purchased mp3s (8000) plus, lets me make playlists and wireless transfer these pl to my iphone 4s, wifes htc droid, & my sons intercept. So what? Oh yeah they have 15 million subscription tracks you can play on demand. New old, dont matter, then you take that battery playlist (old metallica and slayer) and add songs from megadeth, death angel, kreator, sodom, old sepultura oh my best of anthrax ripped cd, and the new testament csong d. as i create this ulti-playlist, i transfer it to all my devices and voila...... My iphone is ready to crank out the ultimate radio station.......MY artist favorites, song for song. some ive owned for 20 years, some i just previewed last night" and well transferred them to all 3 of the family phones..... that easy. and if i get board, i can simply start their artist radio station based on any of the 300 plus songs i will listen today and oh yeah, if i like any of the new songs im about to hear, i hit star and voila, the newly discovered song is now easily findable in my starred list. then i can add it to my battery playlist or listen to the whole album from start to finish. then i can do it again. then i can add them to more playlists or just start a new radio station based on any of the other 11 new songs. see i can go on forever. bye pandora
