The latest: a translated Japanese Toshiba press release claims that the company will release a 10.1-inch tablet that is both the “thinnest” and “lightest” in the world. Not impressed? The manufacturer also claims it will have the “world’s thinnest and lightest” 13.3-inch laptop PC. The tablet will be waterproof and feature an OLED screen.
On the TV side of things, Toshiba will bring a 55-inch TV with glasses-free 3D, and a QFHD (3840×2160) resolution, which is also referred to as “4K” pixel resolution. This is a super high pixel count, but you lose half your resolution when using 3D. This TV will be expensive.
