Though I see your point, realistically, no appreciable percentage of consumers will seek out these phones and have them imported. Most people still get their phones fully subsidized from their carrier. As DT readers, we are certainly not “most people”. ;-)

New OS = Winner? That’s complete BS, BB10 is an unproven OS and a lot is yet to be revealed. Ubuntu looks fairly standard, like an Android sidekick and Firefox OS looks like it has been inspired by Symbian.

No winner here.
