What Will Be On The New iPhone?

There are lots of rumors lfying round, but the only certainties are 3G, e-mail exchange and the ability to download programs from iTunes...as to the rest, Apple keeps its mouth shut.

When the new iPhone is released later this year, will it cause as big a stir as the first version in 2007? Quite possibly, according to an article by Mike Wendland in the Detroit Free Press, which reports that rumors are flying among iPhone geeks about what might be on the new version.   It’s certain that the phone will be 3G, rather the using the not-so-good EDGE network. Additionally it will have exchange e-mail capacity, so users with Microsoft Exchange – meaning a lot of corporate people – will be able to use it, widening the market.   There will also be the possibility to download programs and games via iTunes.   Those are the certainties. The rest are rumors, including iControl, transforing the phone into a remote to control iTunes libraries on computers, and that the new phone will have a black plastic casing. Others are speculating that the new phone will include GPS.   Apple, of course, is saying nothing. But all will be revealed in a couple of months when Apple rolls out its new iPhone.
