Natural Selection is described as a comedy but you’d forgiven if you looked at the trailer and thought it fell more along the lines of a drama. We thought so too.
The film follows Linda White, a sheltered, devoted Christian housewife living in Texas. She’s shocked to discover that her dying husband has a 23-year old illegitimate son living in Florida. Linda decides to track down the son, Raymond, and drag him to Texas. Along the way, Linda and Raymond develop a bizarre relationship that forces Linda to reconsider her life.
Natural Selection is set for theatrical release on March 16.
