After a four year absence — this mostly due to MGM’s long and contentious bankruptcy proceedings — James Bond is finally coming back to the big screen. The first teaser trailer popped late on Sunday and brought a hint of things to come for everyone’s favorite British spy not named Mr. Bean.
The official plot description: “Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.”
Director Sam Mendes and screenwriter John Logan are teaming up to bring the latest Bond story to film. Daniel Craig, of course, returns as Bond with Judi Dench as M and Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes appearing in the film as well.
Skyfall is set to hit US theaters on November 9 with an Oct 26 release date in England.
