Black Death trailer debuts

Originally released in merry old England back in June, Black Death is set in the year 1348, during the worst days of the Bubonic Plague. Directed by Christopher Smith (Triangle, Severance), the film stars Sean Bean (Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings).

In a small medieval English town ravaged by the plague, the black death has left the villagers unscathed. The church sends out a group of warriors led by the knight Ulrich (Bean), to hunt for a suspected necromancer who is said to be able to bring the dead back to life, and has possibly made a deal with the devil. As they approach the village, things get progressively worse, and rumors of sacrifice and a beautiful witch reach the group. Things then go badly for the group. Very, very badly.

Denial is not just a river in Egypt. No matter how many times people refuse its existence, the monster is real in the latest trailer for The Boogeyman.

Based on the haunting story from bestselling author Stephen King (It), The Boogeyman showcases the terrifying creature that stalks, haunts, and preys upon its suffering victims. In this case, the targets are Harper (Yellowjackets’s Sophie Thatcher), a high school student, and her younger sister, Sawyer (Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Vivien Lyra Blair), sisters who are struggling to cope with the recent loss of their mother.

BlackBerry trailer depicts the rise and fall of the iconic phone

Before iPhones and Androids took over the world, there was the BlackBerry. Armed with its signature keyboard and internet access, the story of the unprecedented rise and catastrophic fall of the company is chronicled in BlackBerry, which released its official trailer on Wednesday.

Jay Baruchel stars as Mike Lazaridis, the founder of Blackberry. Along with Douglas Fregin, played by director Matt Johnson (Operation Avalanche), the duo is approached by Jim Balsillie (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Glenn Howerton), who would help turn BlackBerry from a fascinating idea to a billion-dollar company. The relationship between Lazaridis and Balsille became rocky toward the end as the company faced competition from Apple and Google.

The Boogeyman trailer: don’t look under the bed

Don't look under the bed, or the Boogeyman might find you. The first trailer for The Boogeyman, the latest adaption of a story from Stephen King, has been released by 20th Century Studios. The initial footage debuted during the 2023 NFC Championship Game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles on January 29.

Teenager Sadie Harper (Yellowjackets's Sophie Thatcher) and her younger sister, Sawyer (Obi-Wan Kenobi's Vivien Lyra Blair), are still struggling to move on from the tragic death of their mother. This leads to an uneasy relationship with their father, Will (The Sinner's Chris Messina), a therapist struggling with his grief. When an unpredictable patient shows up at the Harper residence, he leaves behind an evil supernatural presence that stalks the grieving family and exploits their suffering. As the patient unwaveringly explains to Will, this entity is "the thing that comes for your kids when you're not paying attention."
