Fans of Fox’s new ratings hit Empire will be delighted to know that a release date for the hotly-anticipated second season has been confirmed: we’ll see the show’s return on September 23, 2015.

The official date was confirmed in a Tweet posted today, asking fans to mark their calendars, with the witty hashtag #gametimebitches.

Empire stats Terrance Howard (Crash) and Taraji P. Henson (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) as divorced former drug dealers. Henson, who stars as the loud-mouthed Cookie, is just newly-released from a 17-year prison sentence, and wants a piece of her ex-husband Lucious Lyon’s (Howard’s) massive music mogul pie, which he built during her time behind bars. But the story sees more major twists and turns beyond that: not only are now-grown kids involved, but Lyon is also engaged to be re-married. And, most troublesome of all, he has been diagnosed with ALS.

In March, Hulu picked up exclusive rights to stream the show, including the entire previous season on-demand, as well as every new episode of this and future seasons the day after it broadcasts of Fox.

The first season finale of Empire was a record-breaker, becoming the highest-rated first-year season finale since McDreamy and McSteamy graced the screens on Grey’s Anatomy. And viewership seemed to continue to pick up following the season one finale – Hulu had already been offering the full first season under its Hulu Plus subscription, which costs $8 per month.

Several guest stars have been confirmed for Season 2, including Chris Rock, Lenny Kravitz, and Alicia Keys. The first season’s final two-hour episode welcomed a steady stream of guest stars, including Snoop Dogg, Jennifer Hudson, Rita Ora, Juicy J, and Patti Labelle.

How I Met Your Father season 2’s ending, explained
Valentina and Sophie looking at the phone, screaming in a scene from How I Met Your Father.

When How I Met Your Father season 2, part 1 ended, Sophie (Hilary Duff) met Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris), who reprised his role from How I Met Your Mother. Their candid conversation led her to come to a huge decision: she wanted to find her biological father. This was resolved quickly in the first episode of the second half of season 2 when she tracked him down as a man named Nick (Clark Gregg).

The story continued to divert from there because, like the adult Ted (Josh Radnor) in How I Met Your Mother, the adult Sophie (Kim Cattrall) continuously went off topic through her story. But the wild ride is all part of the show’s charm.

And Just Like That… season 2, episode 3 release date, time, channel, and plot
Carrie listens to a broadcast in And Just Like That.

After six successful seasons and two terrible movies, the Sex and the City universe expanded with the addition of And Just Like That..., which serves as a sequel and series revival. Premiering in 2021, And Just Like That... reintroduced the world to Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), three of the leading women in Sex and the City. The original series focused on the friendship, sex lives, and social issues of these then-thirtysomethings living in New York City.

And Just Like That... , however, picks up 11 years after Sex and the City 2, with Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte all in their 50s. Despite the fact that they're older, the same friendship, fashion, and relationship drama are still as present as ever. And Just Like That... became Max's most-watched series debut at the time of its December 2021 premiere. Originally conceived as a miniseries, the overwhelming popularity led to a season 2 renewal. What time does episode 3 stream? Find out below!

The Bear season 2’s ending, explained
Carmy standing in a white T-shirt, Marcus in the background in a scene from The Bear.

Season 2 of The Bear continues with the same frantic, intense energy in every episode as the first, but there are new challenges afoot. Fresh off finding $100,000 in hidden cash within oversized cans of tomato sauce that his brother left for him, Carmy is gearing up to turn The Beef into The Bear, an upscale, fine-dining experience.

But starting a business is never easy, as Carmy discovers. He encounters everything from city inspection failures to mold, missing permits, dwindling funds, feuding staff, and personal distractions. The staff grows, and some come into their own (wait, Richie wears suits now?) A star-studded flashback episode, meanwhile, adds context to the fractured family dynamic.
