First look at Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man

Above is the first picture of Andrew Garfield in full Spider-Man costume! Originally posted by SuperHeroHype, the image is quickly making its way around the internets.

The image is taken without context, so it isn’t clear how Spidey took a whoopin’, but it does highlight the look of the new costume Garfield will be sporting in the reboot of the franchise.

The reboot will be directed by Marc Webb, and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Rhys Ifans. There will be no Mary Jane in this outing, instead a college-aged Peter Parker will meet Gwen Stacey (Stone), then tangle with the Dr. Curt Conners/The Lizard (Ifans).

The new Spider-Man is due out on July 3, 2012 in 3D.

Whatever you may have thought of its quality, Spider-Man: No Way Home was undoubtedly the biggest movie of 2021. Just when many assumed that movie theaters had bit the dust, No Way Home came through and smashed all expectations for how it would perform at the box office. One of the reasons the movie did so well is because it united Tom Holland's Peter Parker with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's versions of the character. And, somewhat shockingly, Garfield manages to walk away with the whole movie.

Holland and Maguire are great, and Maguire especially seems to fall back into his performance as Peter Parker with ease after more than a decade away from the role. Garfield, though, has emerged as the most venerated actor of the three, and his Peter may be the most tragic.

Spider-Man: No Way Home has swung back into theaters with the release of its extended cut, "The More Fun Stuff Version." Featuring 11 minutes of extra content, this longer film is a treat for audiences who enjoyed the original superhero blockbuster.

Overall, the movie's additional footage doesn't add any crucial details to the plot, as it's mainly bits of comedy sprinkled into the mix for the audience's enjoyment. Despite that, "The More Fun Stuff Version" makes for a fun cinematic experience that fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will want to see. For those considering seeing this new edition of the film, here's a list of notable changes audiences will want to look out for in theaters. Obviously, the following contains spoilers, but you wouldn't be here if you didn't know that, right?

Sony releases first 10 minutes of Spider-Man: No Way Home

Spider-Man: No Way Home is finally coming to digital outlets for the first time tomorrow. Sony Pictures hasn't exactly been in a rush to bring the film out of theaters because it's still No. 5 at the box office in its 13th week of release. So it's not an exaggeration to say that this is Spider-Man's biggest adventure to date, and easily the highest-grossing Spidey flick. Now, the first 10 minutes of the film have been released online.

No Way Home actually begins with the closing moments of Spider-Man: Far From Home's mid-credits scene. Mysterio may be gone, but he got his revenge on Spidey from beyond the grave by outing his secret identity. That means big problems for Peter Parker and his girlfriend, MJ, as well as anyone in their personal orbit. We even get to see how Peter's rival, Flash Thompson, takes the news that his hero is also the guy he hates the most.
