    I have returned my iPod 3 times. I currently own a dock for iPod with video and the iPod will not play my movies instead I get a message that says TV out enabled. I was told to update my software online, that does not work, I’m very disappointed.

    like most apple products (I hear- I’ve only ever owned 4 iPods though no Macs as of yet) it’s got glitches, that irritate me here they are: 1. my art work on cover flow is not listed in alphabetical order (most of it is but the last 12 album are all random talked to apple techs they were baffled 2. my play count and most recently played playlists only upload accurately 35% of the time, it’s so weird some days I will listen to music for 3 hours and once I sync it will show I listened to 1 or 2 songs (that used to be my favorite amenity on the 30GB) 3. apple techs don’t always know what they are talking about, and are often confused, they sometimes know less than me!! always ask for a second level person 4. the menu screen often resets my settings then I have to reset them to how I want them :( I’m the nitpicky type though… most people would never notice these things… so enjoy it its got lots of space and it’s a fun gadget.

    I am also having trouble with alphabetical order in my new 80 GB IPod classic. There are twelve or fifteen albums that are out of order at the end of my listing. It is really irritating.

    I am still taken care of by my family. The reason I am able to afford this is because I depend on my parent. If I were living on my own, I would not be able to get it because I have no job skills. Anyways, here is my review as objectively as possible. I do not always use my iPod. It does not have a radio function. Sometimes, it is nice to hear the radio host talk! I still need human contact. The iPod is just a machine. It stores music, movies, pictures, notes, etcetera for use when needed. However, it is not a replacement for enjoying life the way it is. I say that the age old saying that “Everything In Moderation” is a good method of living life. In my 14th day of use, I have burned out. I am now listening to the radio. I am at peace just using my iPod once in a while. At first, doing my choirs with the iPod on made me happy. Now, I find myself just as happy doing them without. I do have two radios. One clock radio and one shower radio. I think that the iPod is good for when you go on vacations. But you need a charger (either car or wall).
    Pros: Only for rich folks.
    Cons: None.
