I admit to being an Apple fan boy, but I was skeptical about the touch when I first heard about it. I mean 16 gigs. I have an 80 gig iPod. What is this 16 Gig tiny little thing? My concerns were unfounded though when I got one in my hands. 16 gigs isn’t all that bad when you realize just how much that is. I fit a lot of music on there, and a couple movies too.

The funny thing is I use it more to surf the web than anything else. I hear that Apple is opening up this device by publishing an SDK. That means even more stuff I can play with.

I was also wondering about the scratch factor, and was happy to find that the main screen is glass. It takes more to scratch glass than plastic, so I am hoping this one does not get any micro-scratches. Well that’s it for now. I am giving this a high rating because it does not suck, and it does more than I thought it would.

P.S: I have pudgy fingers and the keyboard works just fine. Even if you screw up the text correction feature works just great. No Problems.

Awesome MP3 player, definitely the best gadget you can get your hands on ATM. Although I strongly disagree with your point on the head phone jack, if you go from holding anything, phone, MP3 player to put it in your pocket, you put it in upside down. You have to physically rotate the touch, or your arm (to a VERY uncomfortable angle) to get it in your pocket the ‘right way’ up.

I love my iPod touch 16 GB; it is everything I was looking for. The video is crisp and bright. Since I live in Australia, I can’t compare it to the iPhone. Music is a stunner, I highly recommend this.

I just got a touch and I really do like it, it’s easy to use, sleek and fun! Much better than all the other iPods.

IPod touch is the best, the 16gb might b a handicap compared 2 IPod touch classic but no matter, this one has wireless and Apple is offering more and more features such as weather, mail and so forth..

Well, I just got my iPod touch for Christmas. It is very good. However I believe that Apple could have made it even better. For example the ephemeral battery. However the functions that are with it are excellent and I would recommend getting it. But I wouldn’t spend all your money I would say get the 8GB.

And today I’ve found my cool iPod touch case online. This fashion and handy design makes my iPod touch is much more attractive for. This unique iPod touch silicone case gives my iPod Touch a great look and style. And it is supposed to give your iPod Touch protection from scratches and minor drops. Dust resistant and keep dust from absorbing on the iPod Touch protector case for much static charge. Aha, perfect collocation, does it? IMO, it is a great accessory for iPod owner to have. And if you have a phone, I think you’d better to get an iPhone case for your precious iPhone too. As it prone to fingerprints & smudges. It’s easy to catch dust, greasiness and fingerprint, and I even worried about scratches and blows.

Some people that are saying- oh wow I hate the touch because it only has 16gigs and I have like 80million songs and that piece of crap doesn’t have enough space. Where else will you find a player this thin and with this much storage?

Great product, but the battery lasts 2-4 hrs on Wi-Fi browsing with 25% brightness, with 4.5 hrs of video (wifi off). It decreases to half in a year.

This is by far the most exciting and entertaining music player built so far. The built in Wi-Fi connection lets you buy apps, songs, movies, videos ect. without the use of your computer.

Although it is a very good looking gadget, it won’t stay all that nice for long because it scratches quite easy.

The iPod also isn’t very durable. Every time you drop it I can pretty much guarantee a scratch.

I would highly recommend a protective case or an invisible shield for the screen to keep your iPod looking nice for as long as possible.

Another thing, the battery doesn’t have much life, especially when on the internet and YouTube. It lasts about a day when playing games, and a couple days when just listening to music.

In conclusion, I would recommend the iPod to anyone that has a love for music and likes games, but only to those who would take good care of it.
