    The video quality is amazing at over 2.5 Mps and sound over 256Kbs. The frame rate is 30fps with great color. Got mine in Japan, all sold out for weeks. Recommend getting “1 Click DVD Ripper”. There is no region code restrictions either. Looks good on my 40 inch television as well, but only if video ripped at over 3.2Mbs with a resolution of 720 x 480. The unit will handle files ripped at 5.6 Mps as well with close to DVD quality on large screen TVs.

    Down side: You have to find your own DVD Ripper software. There is nothing in the box that you can use.

    The product quality was amazing,but I coundnt get to use it. The moment I connected ta an apple it crashed. It Gave me a “Harware Error: message.I still prefer my ipod to the HMP-A1.Its crazy

    This is teh bedst Sony product I have ever owend. The product is a multi-player for Video, Photo and Music. It plays almost everything! I spent $700 on that product and after having all teh fun, I would by it again and … again.

    The only request for improvmnet is teh size of the hard drive. I wish it would come with 40GB hard drive.
