Early buzz on Denzel Washington’s reunion with Training Day director Antoine Fuqua for The Equalizer has been so good that Columbia Pictures already approved a sequel, and the latest television spot for the film offers an indication of why everyone is so high on the film with a hard-hitting preview that also offers up a clip from Eminem’s upcoming single, “Guts Over Fear.”

A big-screen version of the popular ’80s series that cast Edward Woodward as a former special agent who uses his unique set of skills to help people in dire need, the new film puts Washington in the title role as a man who intends to put his bloody past behind him, only to call upon his deadly skills once again when he meets an innocent girl caught up with violent Russian gangsters. In the new preview for the film, we get a peek at what drives Washington’s character, McCall, to come out of retirement and exact vengeance on the gangsters and criminals that terrorize the people around him.

The television spot for The Equalizer also features a short clip from the appropriately titled “Guts Over Fear,” as performed by Eminem and Sia. The song will be officially released August 25, a month before The Equalizer hits theaters.

Along with Washington, The Equalizer stars Marton Csokas, Chloë Grace Moretz, David Harbour, Bill Pullman, and Melissa Leo. The film premieres September 26.

As March turns into April, we're going to lose some genuinely great movies on Netflix. While you still have time, though, you should check these three very different movies out.
