Based on what we’ve seen from Ubisoft thus far, we’re fairly certain that Splinter Cell: Blacklist is going to be solid regardless of what console you’re on. But if you’re one of the intrepid few who bought a Wii U, you’ll probably enjoy it even more. It’s been a bit slow to catch on, but Ubisoft has been a steadfast supporter of Nintendo’s console, and the developer/publisher has taken advantage of the Wii U’s touchpad controller to deliver a new and exciting gaming experience.
In Blacklist, you’ll be able to use the Gamepad for all kinds of stuff – everything from flying your remote-controlled reconnaissance drone, to browsing your inventory, to using Fisher’s new target marking system.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist is set to hit stores on August 20th, so stay tuned for more videos in the coming weeks.
