A couple of thoughts...Price isn't really the issue because it's not much more than an iPod Touch with lots of storage. <br /> <br /> My take is that the Kindle has two strikes against it. 1) size. It doesn't fit in your pants pocket. and 2) people who are avid readers are often drawn to the tactile feeling of turning the pages of a book--the full sense feeling of touch, sight, smell, even the sound of the pages turning. A hurdle that a music player didn't have to overcome. Music has always had a basis in technology and electronics so it was easier to accept. <br /> <br /> Good article and food for thought.
