i am not use to plasma, lcd, dlp's (should have been a class action lawsuit on those) or led's....those people who buy anything of that nature are spoiled and want better. at least, as far as their pocket books will go. projection tv's for me are the bomb. especially the ones that can display 720p. i just bought a manufactures date 2003 hitachi 46" projection tv and i couldn't be happier and i'm smiling all the way to the bank. Why, because it cost me 250.00 bucks and my neighbors van...yea, its a crap shoot because of its age..but i placed it in a room where it will get limited playing time.(sports watching basically).I still have a 43" toshiba. (in the basement now) The picture is fine and ive had no problems with it..its 12 or 13 years old now but it doesnt have any hd capabilities.(which is why its in the basement). Oh yea, I bought that used too. My family room proudly displays a refurbished 57" toshiba. Yea, i bought that used as well 5 years ago off ebay for 700.00 bucks delivered..brand new it went for 1700 bucks at best buy. Not a lick of trouble with that either..It gets plenty of playing time with 3 kids..I know sooner or later im going to have to upgrade because their no longer made by any of the manufactures..but untill then, $$$$$$$$$$$$ will always be an issue, buy the time im ready for an upgrade I'll probably be buying your $2.000.00 set for 400 bucks. See ya sooon...LOL
