The phone is pretty much an old motorola e398. Go google some pictures and you will see that only difference in looks is that ROKR is silver and has one extra button (itunes button). With a little looking around you could actually flash the e398 into a ROKR. Find it strange that the ROKR has no bluetooth since the e398 did. There is a media slot on the e398 but you have to remove the battery to get to it.

If apple came out a phone in the same form as the Nano, even without music playing capabilities, they would sell many many more of those than iPods.

I am surprised that Apple let Motorola move forward with the iTunes phone given its numerous shortcomings. First of all, its silver, not iPod white or even black. Its bulky, and from what I have read <a href="<a rel="nofollow" href="http://news.digitaltrends.com/article8271.html,"">http://news.digitaltrends.com/article8271.html," title="<a rel="nofollow" href="http://news.digitaltrends.com/article8271.html,"">http://news.digitaltrends.com/article8271.html," target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://news.digitaltrends.com/article8271.html, you can only hold up to 100 songs on the device which comes out to about 512MB of storage space. Is there even a media card slot on the phone? The lack of Bluetooth is also not very forward thinking on either Motorola or Apple's part. I predict it will bomb miserably which is a shame because the concept is a good one.

The Nano on the other hand is nothing short of remarkable and definately the right move for Apple. I have ordered one already and should have the review up shortly. I can tell you that I am worried about battery problems given Apple's history, but I think the positives definately outweigh the negatives with this player.
