Great article, I totally agree with all points. It's amazing how one hour of music listening will lower your blood pressure after a long day at the office.

I have been a subscriber of eMusic for a little over a year now, and recommend it to anyone hoping to branch out into other music genres; their downloads are in MP3 format recorded at a 192kbps bit rate which is not too bad. I find that if I like an artist I have downloaded, I will likely go out and buy their CD.

Another good idea is to listen to internet radio stations to explore new musical genres. Then if you like something, you can go and buy the CD.

If you have a lot of people in your home, try using a nice set of headphones, it will block out the family noise and help give you a little tranquility.
